Yes I had mentioned in another thread without mentioning by name. It’s clear as day. He hit 3 people.
Go to the video Cajuns sports talk posted on X. You can see skipper on the far left side swing his helmet. None of the guys he hit were looking. Hit them from behind.
I hate that TXST’s bullshit seeped into our team and so we have to pay the consequences but tbh other than Jackson and flowers (which are huge losses) it’s crazy that no one else got it to
And I say this with all love for Skip and his play but the man has been inconsistent all year AND he’s a freakin hot head. The man literally flexes on late hits to Troy’s QB and acted like he did something
You know how in the mundane corporate world, we have to watch HR training videos that say stuff like “do not use your helmet as a weapon” and we think to ourselves, “why does this even have to be said?”
I would like to know what Evan Stroman did. He is the #84 that #0 swung at and looks like landed 2 punches. Stroman had his helmet off and just backed away like look at this MF.
Bruh he hit 75 (who had no helmet on) in the back of the head with his helmet and 2 more in the back of their helmets while they were just standing there. Thats not heat of the moment shit. That’s premeditated shit. I understand every other one of our players who retaliated to being snuck or sucker punched and I’d have done the same as them. I can’t defend Tyree. He’d be off the team for good if I was in charge. Having said all that fack TEXAS STATE AND GJ KINNE
If that is all he did, no reason for a suspension. I know I would have not just stepped back after #0 sucker punched me. That is the “Cowboys” coming out of me. haha
I won’t argue with what should happen. I haven’t seen him swing helmet but if I see people going after my teammates and in that moment I have my helmet, who knows what happens.
If a player isn’t defending his teammates then we have no culture. Our guys all had each others backs. Now the university just put out their BS statement kissing the conferences ass, which is what they need to do publicly. However, if the administration isn’t raising hell defending our players behind the scenes then they are failing.
I don’t disagree with having my teammates back. But the ones he hit were standing there doing nothing. He could have killed #75. It’s indefensible. And this is coming from someone who has been in plenty of fights.
Can’t help but think if they didn’t let that cajun podcast in the press box who recorded the fight and posted it we wouldn’t of lost any players for the year as there would be no video evidence
