Gotta give credit where credit is due this week.
Many of you don’t get to see the work ethic of @MAT behind the scenes. This man is always on the hunt to grow the Ragin’ Cajun and RR brand, daily. Whether it be creating a website, securing a sponsorship, creating a forum, interviewing/meeting with admin and coaches, etc this man goes above and beyond.
In my (and Lane’s) case… Last week, we both desperately needed new equipment to be able to keep up with the podcast software. MAT stepped up, and within one weekend, handed us all the necessary equipment to be able to maintain a quality broadcast, which you saw last night. He didn’t have to do that, no one asked him to. But like I said, he will go above and beyond for his friends, and the brand.
Love him or hate him, MAT deserves his flowers for all the time and hard work he dedicates to RR

Im starting to like the guy
Haven’t felt this locked in as a Cajuns fan in a long time. RR and thREDs singlehandedly keeping us constantly engaged. Last time I felt this energy was during Hud days when you could tune into 1420 nearly anytime in the afternoon and Cajuns were being talked about.

Appreciate the comment KG. Kohl has been a tremendous asset to RR and prepares like it’s a full time job. With people who love the Cajuns like this, we can truly grow the base to what it deserves to be.

Now that Jennifer Marlin and company is gone, MAT needs a new arch rival within the University.
(Yes I said Jennifer instead Bob, because Jenny always claimed we don’t know ball…..well neither did her husband)
Tracy Bundy could make for a good rival.
For the record Tabacco Plus Jenni came after me. Karren came after me. All those foo-foo people in the Social Club came after me. Simply because I didn’t fall for the con-artist and I was vocal about it. Those people had too much influence over Marlin staying employed here and someone needed to say it. Oh well. We were right, as proven by Maggard’s farewell press conference.
I’d much rather build coalitions than make enemies, but unfortunately, our program is infested with self-righteous, ignorant, insecure twerps that refuse to admit they don’t know what the fack they are doing. I wish there were more people willing to speak out rather than cozy up to the suits. We’d have a much healthier program and fanbase. Probably wouldn’t create so many TSAB fans either.

Preach!! There are many people, both in the University and in the fan base, who have no clue about what it takes to win on the field or court or what it takes to develop an engaged and active fan base, particularly among students.
Wonder if any active students would ever sign-up to a discourse forum like this. Even tigerdroppings has an aging community with no younger demo backfilling.
