Louisiana will take on the ULM Warhawks in its 12th and final regular season game of 2025. The Cajuns are looking for its sixth win and bowl eligibility, which comes after a disappointing 2-6 start. We don’t deserve a bowl.
This team has overcome a rough start, a ton of injuries and suspensions. Considering how bad our OL was hit by injury from even preseason, lunch should have been QB possibly day 1 or definetly when Howard went out. His style of play is what’s needed with a decimated OL. The team has come together, lunch is getting more consistent and I think Dez is calling better games.(he still needs to give up play calling)
We win this weekend and finish on a 4 game win streak we absolutely deserve a bowl. There’s a lot of seniors on that roster who deserve a bowl.
If somehow we win again to finish the season on a 4 game win streak: This team deserves a bowl more than those 6-6 teams in 2022 and 2023. I will have more confidence in them actually winning a bowl game this year than any year past.
8 wins is the floor here, scratching to make 6-6 only to lose the bowl game again and finish 6-7 isn’t good for the program.
This is true. But the team still deserves a bowl if they get it. So do I, I’ve been there all year.
