You are goIng to miss on some arms bc of the numbers. We also have hit on Langevin, Brasch, Hermann, Theut, Roman, papenbrock, holtzhammer, McGehee,Marshall, Fluno, nezuh and Victorian only pitched 2 innings. There are about 290 schools who can use more quality arms. We also have been pretty good on the mound through high school. It’s pretty clear at this point with Deggs, when you get to the end we are going to throw guys he trusts. The 11 games in 13 days finally caught up to us this year. The key is getting byes and staying out the losers bracket, then again Troy is still playing and we made it further than the other 3 SBC schools.

I hear you. I don’t envy any college pitching coach in today’s game. Bunch of guys with “stuff” and you’ve got to be the first person in their life, at least it seems this way to an outsider, to tell them that’s not enough.
Pitching at most levels is bad. It’s all about stuff over command. Even see it in MLB. The depth of pitching is just not there.

Lots of players entering the portal last week. I think they knew that they coach was gone. Announced today that he is going to South Carolina.

Oh one hand, you hate to see it because Coastal being perennially good is good for our conference as a whole in the argument for 4+ NCAA bids.
