He shot 39% on 425 attempts. Inefficient and only 2 assists per game. Also lead the team in turnovers. Can’t imagine teams are going to be beating the door down for a guy like that.

he was a defensive liability. Mike Collins will fill his role and play far better defense, plus the guards we have coming in and getting back. we will be fine without Olvera.

Olvera showed the kind of player he could be down the stretch. He played out of position most of the year and often never could get things going. I think he is a much better player than what we saw this year.
In today’s world of college athletics, he is looking to get paid.

Saw Mouton is entering also, so Coach Q will have a completely new team again.
One walk-on, 2 seniors and 1 transfer portal. 4 is a very low number considering the state of college athletics. I don’t think you will see a completely new team. You will see a team with a solid returning core with some impact players coming in. IMO

I know Mouton was young.
But what were his projections? Did the staff foresee him being solid contributor in the future or always a role player?
No. He was a walk on. No factor in the future.
