My way of scheduling will give us the greatest opportunity for the playoffs. Book it.

The only way would be to put together multiple dominant years in a row. We definitely are not on that trajectory.
Never forget:
Had a shot for the SBC Championship game in 2020 to be two ranked teams playing each other: Coastal Carolina vs. Louisiana, but Gill and SBC let Coastal crawfish out of it for some coach getting Covid. That would have been the highest rated Championship game with two ranked teams for the first time and only time ever still to this day.
Because they thought Coastal was a lock for a NY6 bowl gameā¦ and it doubly backfired. Not only did they NOT get an NY6 game, they got beat by Liberty. Thus, the Coastal COVID Chickens nickname was born.

That game was a kick in the balls. We were going in for a TD to put the game away but got a 15 yard penalty because a Covid player ripped OāCyrus Torrenceās helmet off mid play and he didnāt immediately stop playing in the middle of the los

You are right . I misremembered. The previous home game against Georgia Southern was the one that we missed 12 players because of Covid exposure (and still played the game) . Was at both games and mixed up which had a lot of players out because of Covid
That being said- It was such chicken shit that the CCG was canceled because of 1 freaking assistant coach when our team actually played games with a substantial amount of players out
