Deuce Adams was the starter. Sites had him as a 3 star & signed with Louisville where he never sees the field. Another situation proving the sites know nothing.
Correct. Miles came after.
Pretty sure Duece Adams was the 2021, 2022 & 2023 starter. While Miles Teodocki was the 2024 Starter.
Thats exactly what im saying, people look at what some recruiting site says about guys or a class and assume guys/classes are good/bad. There are so many variables that go into it that people dont know or consider. There is only one constant when it comes to recruiting sites/services…make money.
mestamaker was at UNT in 2024. He’s a redshirt.
I’ve always found offers from other programs to be a better indicator than stars on a recruiting website. It was rare back in the Bustle days for us to pick up a recruit over another FBS program (other than maybe ULM or Arkansas State). The product showed on the field.
I do the same. Which gets me excited about the RB we signed from Holy Cross in Nola. He had offers from a few P4s.
I just want so transfers at the front 7 and WR position. Lord knows we need them
Like seriously is anyone else concerned that we haven’t recruited D linemen the size of Bush at JMU?
Des’s recruiting philosophy needs to change and lean towards JUCO defensive linemen or its gonna be another year of allowing big gains up the middle.
They signed a NT from Htown 6ft 1” 320lbs….good start.
We won’t know for a couple of seasons if this is a good class or not. No coach (including the P4’s) ever think they have a poor class. Time will be the only way we will have a true indication of how good this class will be. Another thing that is true is that NO school hits on every recruit.
I trust our staff at finding the right guys and developing them.
What eroded a bit of trust I had in them this season was the personnel decisions and execution at QB and WR, especially in the first half of the season.
Just signed a Memphis decommit (decommitted Wednesday) OT michael bowens. He has offers from Memphis, Arkansas, Florida.
3 star with offers from Arkansas and Florida and 10 other schools.
We are taking a lot of chances on low level recruits.
Yeah could not find anything on this guy.
Couldn’t find much either, but his Hudl is pretty solid. He has good size, speed and instincts.
I bet you a lot of these players will end up being great and be signed in a couple years to a P4 school, and we will be saying the same thing every year for the near future until the NIL is corralled into something, or we actually have a spit where the P4 is the pros and G6 are top minor, and FCS middle minor, and the rest as lower minor. We have a true farm system, where players are signed by the Pros and assigned to all the minor teams.
