Good to see a steady increase from 2022 to 2025. We can do better, but we are about on average what G6 level football teams are averaging, or we may be a little better. I believe if we would have won more early in the season we would have been in the 22-25K range on average for 2025.

Calculated out the same number last night for 2025. 108 total tickets short of averaging 20K for the year.

Let’s round up.

It’s good there was a boost. That was pretty much expected with the new stadium. The early season play certainly didn’t help.

The trick is how does the administration build on it? Will they be able to avoid another backslide?

I enjoyed the overall stadium experience this year. Fix the darn scoreboard, though.

I’ll play Debbie Downer. I don’t think this admin has what it takes to boost fan support too far beyond what we saw this year. I thought it was fitting the only time we heard from Maggard last night was a video on a busted scoreboard about “Giving Tuesday.” If it’s not hands out asking for the same people to support our charity, they are out of ideas.

The new stadium gave a boost this season but unless we get consistency in the program, every year will be a hit or miss.

Is the new scoreboard coming this offseason? I know it’s in the works.

Struggling to get to six wins isn’t a recipe for increased attendance, neither is the current pricing for tickets, tailgating, and concessions. There are discussions that need to be had after the bowl game regarding strategy to fill Our Lady of Lourdes Stadium.

My buddy and I laughed the whole time Maggard was on the worn out scoreboard. Skipping and all that. It was terrible. They should have just turned it off. In fact, the video should just be turned off completely now, That thing is beyond repairable.
Please tell me we are replacing the score board this off season. It is finished!!! Looks like somebody too a .22 to it. Black spots. A bullet hole in the middle and the audio is all messed up.

They are clueless on how to build casual fan support. They are professionals at exiling and turning die hard into casuals.

No…need money for that project still

I have a FREE suggestion to make the OLOL experience better.

At the end of every quarter, announce SBC scores, Top-25 scores and in-state scores.

Costs nothing and would be greatly appreciated.

Great idea since those of us on AT&T can’t look that info up ourselves.

That also be a good use of the ribbon board on the East side - not sure if it was even on Saturday

Am I the only one who doesn’t remember any games other than Rice where we actually had more than 15k in the stands?

  1. Did you not attend the McNeese game?
  2. Every team in the country goes by tickets sold. Why penalize ourselves by not doing the same?

Good weather. Saturday nights.

That is always a recipe for increased attendance.

And the Cajuns decked out in all black.

I thought the crowd was really good Saturday compared to the usual post thanksgiving crowd. I walked around in the first quarter and the people standing around to get out of the rain was insane.

The first 3 home games had great crowds and the students showed up.

Back 3 crowds were MEH.

For the love of God, I pray we can keep the night games going. It’s sooooo much better!
