I think Bot Rouge is the only one excited about the game today.

Entire team just looks like they’re ready to get home.
We have no offense
And no pitching.. this weekend everyone is off
We had 1 good pitcher and he happened to be the 1st one on the mound. Everyone else, not so much.
I hope this weekend don’t bleed into other future games
Our pitching and defense along with a couple of lucky 2 out hits has masked this garbage offense until this weekend. Deggs is supposed to be a hitting a coach but once again his offense so far this season is absolute shit.
Wow. They teach you how to stand on first base in tee ball. I just know we have to be the butt of a long running joke about base running skills. See what I did there?
When looking at the bigger picture, I’m willing to chalk this one up as not our weekend for pitching and defense. As a whole, I’m still confident in this pitching staff and I think it will actually improve once our injured guys come back.
But the offense is a whole different story and it is very much time to panic. We can’t even hit in a hitter’s ballpark. Not hitting for power is one thing. Not hitting at all is a problem. How many times do we get a runner on only to hit yet another weak ground ball for a double play? Or waste baserunners because we can’t get the ball out of the infield? SELA and ULM this week. Anything other than 4-0 is a failure. Yes I know ULM is better this year, but ULM at home needs to be a sweep.
