It’s his delivery. I’ve never liked these sweeping sidearm pitchers at the collegiate level. Seems more times than not, they struggle with accuracy and give up too many free bases.

Only 1 run off 4 walks in 2 IP. Flirtin with disaster. I’d be surprised to see him back out.

He’s had some unproductive outs in this tournament…and some big hits…and leads us in average as a Freshman.

Jumping on the first pitch has worked well for him this year .. just seems like he cant quite get it right in the tournament

Having Rigo go down was a huge loss for this team. Tough play there for Amedee that I would think a guy playing 2nd regularly at least knocks down to limit the damage to 1. 6 free passes in 3 IP with 3 given up. Not sustainable. Gotta start finding the zone. Let the guys play defense.

Lee just doesn’t have the range to play middle infield. Markle is at 2B now.

Carter has a mid 90s + fastball and a pretty good breaking ball. But for whatever reason hitters have no issue squaring him up. He’s either missing the zone or getting tattooed.
