Most UL fans including myself have complained about the pricing and lack of quality from Sodexo. Well I heard today that UL hasn’t paid those guys in over a year. Normally, I wouldn’t believe this but from the financial stability of the University I would believe this. They have paid folks for work not performed and they have no checks and balances, so this wouldn’t be surprising to not pay someone we owe.

You can pick a handful of Facebook posts from some of the offical UL athletics accounts and you’ll find some of the same people repeatedly making comments like “instead of doing XYZ, why don’t you catch up on the months of backpay you owe the officers who block traffic and keep your games safe every weekend”
I have a feeling Sodexo – and apparently LPD – are only a couple of many vendors with their hands out waiting for money

They still owe me 10k for R&D project I did on extracting Omega 3s oils from Asain Carp for use in crawfish farming. Told the grant was canceled after I submitted the report lol. Then they have the balls to publish my recommendation without any credit.

I can’t wait until someone in this town does their facking job and exposes what’s been going on with RCAF & Learfield too. Is it legal to use sponsor purchased and donated gift cards to buy personal belongings, entertainment and give away to other potential donors? Very interested in that answer.
There is so much money unaccounted for, the majority of us wouldn’t even believe it.
I’d bet by June 1 of 2026, 50-60% of leadership on both sides of the admin are replaced, including the Vice President of intercollegiate athletics, also known as the Athletic Director. But, the Athletic Director can’t vote to give himself a raise…. VP of ICA can… Anyone know who gave him that title? The rabbit hole goes deep guys.
