I see a lot of people on this forum like the idea. I still stand on the notion that the grassroots campaign is great and I applaud him, but the alligator sucks!

If they will not allow him in we need to figure out a way to get the costume snuck in so someone can dress in it. IF then the mascot gets kicked out, it will be videoed as everyone as phone cameras. This kick out video will go viral on social media thus the university having to answer to it and then thus the popularity of this new Gator Mascot will explode!

Need to do this politically. Need to pay someone on the inside to just let Al in the back door. How awesome would it be to see him come out of the tunnel like he owned the place.

You can’t quantify how much a successful mascot means to a university. Up here in Wisconsin, Bucky Badger is easily the most recognizable symbol in the state. The kids love him, and practically every student at the university has grown up with him. He’s like a rock star. Al could be that at UL.
