Volleyball season is here!!! First game on Saturday 1:00 PM Red-White Scrimmage at the Long. First real game is Friday 29th @ the LONG against Texas Southern.

Cajuns will likely be in a rebuilding year as only 6 of the 15 players from last year’s crew are returning. Of the points scored we will be returning 57% of those players. The good news is 4 of the top 7 scorers are returning including the top 2.

The class breakdown is as so:

FR - 8 SO - 4 JR - 4 SR -1

Very young team but that can be a plus - new blood. And we still have the best looking coach in the conference.

Increase my volleyball donations this year for two reasons.

-We enjoy the matches & I enjoy the fact that I’m buying beer off an old school chalkboard menu.

-Our school just started our volleyball program & our players families want to go see the matches.

Team returns to EK Long this week with a 6-2 record.

Friday vs Southern (6:00 pm)

Saturday vs Nicholls (12:00 pm)

Can’t make it Friday because of football but I’ll be in my seats Saturday! May even show up early for a little tailgating.

Something to cheer about. Cajuns went to San Marcos today and knocked off TXST. We are 9-2. TXST has been top of the conference for a long time and have played a really nice schedule this year.
