This is a great album. Lots of big name artist who all did a great job playing tribute.
Seen your boy Billy String brought home a Grammy
Sure did. Billy Strings has been such a power in Bluegrass over the last few years.
Also saw that Michael Cleveland was nominated as well. Didnt realize he had released an album last year. If anyone is a fan of Bluegrass and is not familiar with Michael Cleveland, I suggest looking him up. He is not only one of the best fiddlers in Bluegrass but a very interesting story. I admire the guy for sure.
Saw Jon Batiste won best Americana album. Not sure I would consider his music Americana but it was a good album for sure. In that category, another artist I would highly recommend listening to is Larkin Poe.
My cousin is the drummer/backup vocals for the Mick Jagger track. Really are some incredible musicians on it.
It was recorded (mostly) in Maurice.
