Young Ragin' Cajuns Club

One thing my wife and I did over the years (some years ago) was buy in to the YRCC. It was a great benefit for the family. Over the last 2-3 athletic years, we have seen some drastic changes to the benefits of the club. Most of which limits, what used to be unlimited access, to all games in all sports.

Just thought I would share the link for those who may want to buy in to the program for your kids.

It used to be a great program. They’ve ruined it with the last two iterations.

During the Hud years, $120 for an athletic year pass for kids 12 an under. Made money, exposed kids to UL Sports and they got a cool lanyard (that my kids still have) as a keep sake.

We used to do YRCC for our two. But it’s obvious they wanted to steer families with kids to buying FB season tickets for their kids instead of YRCC. Which changed from tickets to all FB games to only 2 vouchers for 2 games.

Cheapest season ticket: $100

YRCC Membership: $30

So, if you wanted to “game” the system, you’d have to buy three YRCC memberships for a $10 discount. But the rub is that the athletic department can choose which game(s) they won’t allow the YRCC voucher to be redeemed for.
