Figured I’d post some scores from our future opponents this season. There aren’t any Sun Belt games this weekend but we do have some non-conference opponents playing today.
USC beat San Jose State 42-26. USC QB Jayden Maiava went 25/29, had 286 passing yards and threw 2 touchdowns.
Lamar plays Abilene Christian in about half an hour. I’ll post updates once the game is finished.

NDS definitely dog walking us in the Dollar General bowl.
Stanford eeked out a win against Hawaii. Questionable call helped Stanford move it down the field to pull it off.
Very small crowd at USC today. Watched a bit of the game and man, their linemen are HUGE. San Jose State held tough and finally scored late in the game, but USC is going to be a battle.

USC will be a problem for us. Just hoping we can keep it respectful and come out of that game healthy.
