The Louisiana Drillers are looking for amazing billet families to open their homes and their hearts to our players for the 2025-2026 hockey season (late August through mid-March).
The players, ages 17–20, come from all over the country to chase their hockey dreams right here in Louisiana.
When you host a player, you’re giving them more than just a place to stay - you’re giving them a second home.
The Perks of Being a Billet Family:
$400 monthly grocery stipend
2 FREE season passes to ALL Drillers home games (cheer on “your” player in person!)

Players are on strict schedules with practice, games, and team rules set by the league. Theyre disciplined, committed, and here to play hockey!
Hosting a player means gaining another member of the family… One who will bring energy, excitement, and unforgettable memories into your home. Many billet families stay in touch with their players for years after they’ve moved on.
Season Dates: Late August - Mid- March
Players practice, play, and travel with the team. You just provide a comfortable home base.
