Currently the default when you come on the site is it puts you on the “categories” page. I think it’s amazing for organization, but I typically find myself going directly to the “latest” tab to see just where the conversations are happening.
I’m curious to see how others are going about interacting with the site to see posts if they are going by category, latest, newest or unread?
I set mine to latest as well. If I need something specific, I’ll go back to categories and use the different folders to find what I’m looking for. Gotta tell you, I really like the way this platform is organized.
I believe it can be adjusted to where “Latest” is the first page, but I wanted to make sure I/we are not the minority. I know it’s just one click but simplicity and helping encourage the most interaction on the site, personally I think it would help.
@MAT we can adjust it to have latest first, and then categories second if you want?
This is the way to go. If someone comes here specifically looking for a certain category or to start a topic, they can navigate to what they need. But as a baseline, the latest conversations happening is what I’m interested in.
