Happy Mardi Gras everone. Here's Mayor Rayburn Bertrand handing the key to the city to King Rex on April 1966. I was 11, and went to the grandstand (no one stopped me) and was able to take this photo. The Mayor had it enlarged and on his desk for some time after. Quite proud of that image.
