We’ve given up 6 runs since Deggs took the ball from Pearson with 1 out nobody on in the 8th. I love this team’s fight. They are never completely out of a game. Unfortunately that mentality seems to be kinda wasted on a squad that just isn’t that good.
We now have to sweep this weekend and win 2 of 3 against Coastal to have any chance of an at-large bid. If not then we will have to win the Tournament, we actually have a decent pitching staff for the Tournament.
Something happened to Tollett. Not sure what. But the dude was lights out his first handful or so appearance this season, weekend starter, then he’s just crashed out.
This is such a long shot. Baffling pitching staff decisions have cost us a handful of games this season. We never have the luxury of dropping midweek games like the Big 3 conferences do.
We would have to win both upcoming series and go fat in the tournament to get at large. Don’t see that happening especially at coastal
