A loss to Texas St. should not drop our RPI much as their RPI is climbing. What is their RPI?
Troy might of just lost their shot of a tournament spot allowing a grand slam on the last pitch of the game.

We are not getting in over Texas St by going 0-5 against them. Today is a MUST win
CDS is real. The rationale before the tournament was beat Marshall and were close. Maybe in. Then beat Coastal and we’re surely in. Granted, the TXST loss was tough, but we picked up a 3rd win against the beach chickens.
We may lose to TXST for a 5th time 100-0, but I still feel better than 2023 when we were 48 and got an at large.
We don’t necessarily need to get in “over” Texas State. As of now probably aren’t going to be a lot of stolen bids. I think Troy worked themselves down below us and Texas State. Decent odds of the SBC being a 4 bid league this year.
We were the 4th best SBC team that year.. had a better overall record, better conference record, and a win against the #1 team in the country
