They are definitely grinding but MAN it would be nice to just get a freakin bases clearing double one of these nights so everyone can get their blood pressure back down
I’d like to get a Friday night win for a change
Those were some disappointing at bats from Dobson and Galt twice at the end of the game. Went 0-4 combined. 1 K a piece. I was rooting for them especially with bases loaded. Didn’t happen.
Defense is really good and has the ability to keep us competitive in every game. Need more consistent base hitting. Seeing two homers from our squad and a couple other deep balls to the warning track was nice, as power seems to be lacking thus far.
It does seem we’re at least putting the bat on the ball more consistently than prior years. Maybe it’s just my perception, but appears we’re not striking out as high of a rate at the plate.
