Deion Sanders Fining Players

I find the amount of press the CU Buffs receive to be quite excessive considering their record the past few seasons. However, I found this to be kind of interesting.

For those of you who do not use Instagram, Coach Deion Sanders is fining players for certain misconducts such as damaging property, missing practice, being late to practice, etc.

It seems harsh at first, but considering these student-athletes are literally getting paid to play college football, I think it’s good to keep their behavior in shape.

What do you guys think about this. Should we implement a rule like this to further discipline our student-athletes as well?

I like the strategy. These players want to get paid like professionals, they should be fined like them.

No

Players wont pay the fines, they’ll just listen to God’s Plan and enter the portal.

How can he fine players if they’re not employees of the institution?

He might be opening a can of worms nobody wants opened. Memphis basketball started this but nobody pays attention to them. Deion has all eyes on his program.

This is exactly how I feel. I actually applaud Deion for putting these expectations into place.

This is the most likely outcome, but I do like the theory of holding them accountable.
