That is a great album! Amazing how many big name artists came together to collaborate. I’m in the same boat. Cajun music has and will be a huge part of be because of the way I grew up. Son of a Cajun musician will have an affect on music taste one way or another. You will either love it or absolutely hate it. Personally, I love Cajun and Zydeco. ---

If you are interested, Lagniappe Records had a book to go along with the album. They also have a decent Cajun section. I’m the same. Always looking for unique Cajun albums. Picked this one up a while back. It’s a piece of history for sure. Live Festival Acadiens from 1981. ![IMG6864](https://canada1.discourse-cdn.com/flex029/uploads/cajunthreds/original/2X/4/4a494070a57726fcf7d5df70fb3b91b1245192ae.jpeg) ---

Happy to see new music being released by Skindred. For those that might know them, they are a mixture of hard rock, rap, and reggae. Interesting mix. They put on a great live show. > **[You Got This by Skindred on Apple Music](https://music.apple.com/us/album/you-got-this/1849226955)** > > Album · 2026 · 10 Songs ---
