Hopefully he is going out on his terms. He has been the most consistent and loyal part of the football program for the past 30 years.

Very curious what decisions led to someone such as himself to leave.
My expert opinion is that with the budget issues, positions need to be cut. Fortunately, Wingerter hit his 30 years and possibly took one for the team.
