Like everyone else, I am worried about our talented freshmen.
I also noticed Wil Taylor is not on the roster also. Only other one outside LaCava, Brooks, and Alfonso which was already announced
I know it’ll be hard to keep em because money talks, but I’m not really worried about losing anyone of importance. Sure, we may lose one or two if the right school comes with the right amount, but these kids look bought in. You can see it on their faces in every game. I mean Markle gets buckled on a wipeout slider when we’re getting our ass kicked while facing elimination and they show Colt in the dugout laughing his ass off. They really look like they love each other and playing together. I think that’s one of many good signs that Deggs really got thru to this bunch.
At the beginning of the season, I thought Will Taylor would be a key contributor out of the bullpen. He only had 3 appearances for the season and did not pitch for quite some time. Did he leave the team during the season?

Mandino taking the route that I believe we will see more in football. Play 3/4 years then transfer for the final year. For baseball, after 3 years either get drafted or transfer for more playing time depending on situation. For football, after 3 years transfer to get paid since the odds of pro football are very slim.
Hopefully these guys realize that if these “big schools” can buy you, they can buy someone else too. Their roster payrolls are so high they have no problem paying you $200k to be a depth piece or sit in the dugout.
Mandino deserves to be an everyday guy. Not sure we can guarantee that with our outfield. Sucks to lose him because he would still contribute next year but I get it.
