# Removing Politics Category from Latest

Cajun ThREDs allows political discourse. We understand some users may not want to see these posts in their “Latest” posts feed. To accomplish this begin by clicking on your avatar in the upper right corner and click the person image at the bottom.

Then select preferences.

Once in Preferences, select Tracking, then scroll down to “Muted”

Click the “+” sign and type “Politics”, click it, and then click save changes. All future posts will be muted from the “Latest” posts displayed.

@RaginCajun77 is there any way posts in the latest section can be not shown for individual users if those posts are in a category they have muted?
