Seems to be a work in progress. During his freshman season last season he averaged 2.5 points and 3.5 rebounds and averaged 3.8 minutes per game. Hopefully he will continue to develop and contribute to Cajun success on the court in the future.
He played one year at JC after playing in Jordan. Which is similar to a prep school league. He is a preferred walk-on was told today. His dad is paying his way, not certain if that changes later. Waiting for more information like everyone else. Looking forward to seeing his father in the dome on ocassion.
Me and Owen have been playing NBA Jam for the last 6 months. When he found out The Dream’s son was a Cajun, he lost his mind. He can’t wait to go to the dome now.
I had a Hakeem Olajuwon poster on my wall when I was a kid. I’m confident that I did not really know anything about him nor did I watch much NBA basketball. Just liked the name, I suppose.
No, I went to that game in Houston since I was living and working there. We lost by 1 point, 78-79, and the Dream blocked a lay-up by George Almones to end the game. That was Jan 10th, 1983.
I played golf with Clyde Drexler a few years ago at Royal Oaks CC in Houston. The president of my company is close friends with Clyde. After being introduced, I told Clyde I watched him in college against USL. He looked straight at me and said, “they were good". Houston ended up losing the championship that year to NC State.
