They gave us something to cheer about, for sure. Have not watched and enjoyed this much baseball in a while.
Also, given how rough 2025 was from an overall athletics standpoint (among other things) I think the UL community really needed a boost.

Between the play-in game, an extra if-necessary game, rain delays, driving back and forth between Troy and Montgomery, this team did more than what was asked of them. Even after getting their ass beat for a few innings in the championship game they made a comeback. It’s been a wild ride.
Keep swinging the bats like that and you give yourself a chance in the postseason.
