How many guys do we have playing in collegiate summer leagues this year? I know Colt Brown, Blaze Rodriguez, Cam Riley, and Will Taylor are playing for the Acadiana Cane Cutters, and Kasen Bellard will be playing for the Lake Charles Gumbeaux Gators (both of those teams are in the Texas Collegiate League), but I’m unaware of any others. Also do you guys expect to see any of these guys improve over the summer?
Looking at the Cane Cutters roster there is a Cooper Markle from Katy, Tx. Any relation to Drew?
Cooper is followed by some Cajuns Instagram accounts including Drew’s, so I would assume yes.

As far as I’m aware, Colt, Blaze, and Cam have yet to get any playing time for the Cane Cutters. However, Will Taylor has pitched in two games. Here’s his stats: 7.2 IP, 4 H, 5 R, 5 ER, 6 BB, 10 SO, and 0 HR.
Kasen Bellard has played in 9 games for the Gumbeaux Gators, with 28 AB, 14 H, 5 RBI, 3 BB, 1 HR, and 3 K. He leads the TCL in batting average
